In order to expedite the resolutions of the nationality files that are in process, those that were filed with the new modification of 2015, which states the resolution of the same in one year from the date on which the application enters the General Directorate of Registries and Notaries thus establishing Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1004/2015, of November 6 and also those that have been filed prior to this date through the normal mechanisms in the corresponding Civil Registry and remain unanswered, it will be possible to file before the National Court a Contentious Administrative Appeal in judicial proceedings, for which it will be necessary to have a lawyer and a procurator.
In order to initiate this process, it must be certain that the file was presented in a perfect manner, that is to say that it complied with all the requirements for the acquisition of Spanish nationality and that all the documentation that accredits it was provided.
