This type of visa authorizes the foreigner to reside in Spain for a period of more than 90 days, without the possibility of carrying out any remunerated activity. For this purpose, it must be proven that the foreigner has sufficient means to cover his/her living and living expenses, including, if applicable, those of his/her family during the period of time for which he/she wishes to reside in Spain.
The holder of the residence will be required to comply with the monthly amount equivalent to 400% IPREM or its equivalent in foreign currency and for the support of each of the dependent family members, during their residence in Spain, an amount equivalent to 100% IPREM per family member.
This type of visa includes pensioners or retirees who meet the stipulated economic amounts.
