It must be applied for by any person wishing to enter Spanish territory for a period not exceeding 90 days.
The following countries are exempt from this visa:
Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Holy See, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Switzerland, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela and Israel.
