- Employment Relationship with the Corporate Group: The applicant must be employed in a company of the corporate group that has a subsidiary, branch or headquarters relationship in Spain. Must demonstrate that he/she has worked for the parent company outside of Spain for at least six months prior to the transfer.
- Employment Contract or Transfer Agreement: The employee must have an employment contract or transfer agreement with the entity in Spain. This contract must specify the employee's duties and responsibilities in the Spanish subsidiary, as well as the duration of the transfer.
- Qualifications and Experience: The employee must have the necessary qualifications and experience to perform the role in the Spanish subsidiary. This may include academic degrees, professional certifications and a relevant work history.
- Financial Means and Working Conditions: The company must guarantee that the employee will receive an adequate salary and that all working conditions stipulated by Spanish law are met. It must also be demonstrated that the employee has sufficient financial means to support himself/herself during his/her stay in Spain.
- Compliance with Legal Regulations: The applicant and the company must comply with all legal and tax regulations in Spain, ensuring that all work activities are carried out in accordance with Spanish law.

- Evaluation and Resolution: The UGE-CE will issue a resolution within approximately 20 working days. If the application is approved, the residence card will be issued.
- Obtaining the Residence Card: With the favorable resolution, the employee must register at the corresponding immigration office and apply for the residence card.
