As a foreigner in Spain, it is of great importance to know and understand the State policies that may be adopted on such a relevant issue as immigration.
Last December 2, the Autonomous Elections were held in Andalusia and these have opened new fronts of discussion, taking into account the results obtained by VOX, which leads us to ask ourselves: What policies does VOX include in terms of Immigration, within its 100 measures for a Living Spain?
The electoral program of Vox called 100 measures for the España Viva we find from point 14 to 22 the policies that this party will adopt starting with Andalusia with the intention of extending it throughout Spain. The first point begins with an extreme measure Deportation of illegal immigrants to their countries of origin, despite not having more information on this point, the issue that defines Vox, is that it is a party explicitly anti-immigration on a national scale, with this premise it proposes the expulsion of all illegal immigrants, We consider that the factual assumption is not at all permissive and could threaten the possibility that foreigners still in an irregular situation may at some point regularize their situation, we also consider that the administrative migratory situation does not determine that the foreigner is committing -sine qua non, some illegal conduct.
Likewise, as we will see, VOX will seek to regulate the immigration procedures that will result in foreigners not being able to meet the requirements, it will hinder at all costs the procedure for foreigners residing in Spain to obtain Spanish nationality, we know that today the procedure requires legal residence in most cases and meet the requirements of socio-cultural knowledge and have favorable mandatory reports, it will undoubtedly be difficult in terms of time and requirements for the person concerned to be recognized the Spanish nationality.

The much acclaimed Law 4 of 2000 and its Regulatory Decree would be modified to such an extent that it would seek to prioritize the interests of Spanish citizens over migrants, among its surprising policies to build a wall (another) in Ceuta and Melilla, and publish statistical data on criminality and nationality, finally, we believe that these policies could create other problems that in a country like Spain should not occur, being a country that is inclusive and accepts the population of third countries.
Within this context, numeral 15 establishes: Deportation of immigrants who are legally in Spanish territory but who have reoffended in the commission of minor offenses or have committed a serious crime, which is why at this point we consider it pertinent to mention that the foreigner who is legal, has a valid residence document, and in the event that he has served his sentence and commits a serious crime again, may be deported, In this sense, it will be necessary to study each type of crime and the personal-family situation of the foreigner to determine if the most effective sanctioning measure is an expulsion from Spanish territory with a prohibition of entry into the Schengen area, which exists today.
16. Revision of criminal offenses (and stiffening of penalties) to combat illegal immigration mafias, as well as those who collaborate with them, whether they are NGOs, companies or individuals.
To put an end to the "call effect": any immigrant who has entered Spain illegally will be unable, for life, to legalize his situation and therefore to receive any type of assistance from the administration. The aim of this measure is to put an end to the possibility that foreigners in an irregular situation can regularize their situation through the figures we know today as exceptional circumstances - social, labor and family roots.
18. Effective persecution of the street trade mafias, not only the vendors, but also the production and distribution. This measure is extremist, we consider that it will not solve the problem of street trade, nor of the vendors (you can find foreigners in an irregular situation or also cases that are people who came to Spain in search of protection due to situations in their countries of origin where they are faced with humanitarian crises, armed conflicts, persecution and we could list other reasons that lead a person to leave their country, often with an uncertain future).
As it is known, vendors are deployed with their banners through the central sectors of the cities, subways, places where they can reach the thousands of passersby who pass daily, unfortunately it is an open and patent reality that has exceeded the dimension, and that can be avoided with certain regulations or implemented innovative measures that will eventually make this activity sustainable, such as establishing permits, schedules, making a quality control of the goods or services offered and seek to ensure a space that is safe for these people who are often working for the livelihood of their homes, perhaps by implementing the necessary corrective measures that does not imply as the only solution to persecute and eliminate both the State and these people benefited.
19. Abolish the institution of arraigo as a way to regulate illegal immigration. Revocation of the fast track to acquire Spanish nationality. At this point, the comments require a post that only deals with this issue, the arraigo is contemplated as a residence authorization that is obtained by exceptional circumstances, not all foreigners who are in an irregular situation can access residence authorizations under the institution of the arraigo, The aim is to allow these foreigners to obtain legal residence so that they can carry out their life project and have their rights and freedoms recognized in the Political Constitution, in international treaties and in the Immigration Law itself recognized.
20. Raise the requirement in language level, taxation and integration for the acquisition of nationality. Possibility of losing acquired nationality for activities against national sovereignty, security or independence.

21. Help developing countries, which are also victims of human trafficking mafias that weaken their nations by extracting their human and economic resources to offer them as slaves in Europe. Make development aid conditional on countries accepting the repatriation of illegal immigrants and criminals.
22. Immigration will be dealt with in accordance with the needs of the Spanish economy and the immigrant's capacity for integration. Quotas of origin will be established, giving priority to nationalities that share language and important ties of friendship and culture with Spain.
In short, the extreme right in Spain has arrived and it has parliamentary representation, and surely measures will be adopted that will generate much controversy, however, I would like to know what is your opinion about the measures of VOX? Do you agree with these measures?
