What documents do you need to gather?
- Family tree by maternal or paternal line showing an ancestor of Sephardic origin that should contain at least the following information: date and place of birth, date of marriage and death of relatives up to the 15th generation (if possible). The more data obtained, the greater the chances that the study will be favorable.
- A genealogy report issued by an expert, which allows to prove that the holder is directly descended from a Sephardic person, in order to obtain the certification of the corresponding Jewish Community.
- Birth, baptism, marriage or death certificates and any secondary sources such as bibliographic references, genealogy books and research.
