This procedure NO DOES NOT authorize you to work or reside in Spain.
What is the difference between NIE and residence/stay permit?
The NIE is assigned to foreigners who have economic, social or professional interests with Spain (which must be documented) and the residence and/or stay permit authorizes you to stay during its validity.
What is its validity?
90 days.
Does this assigned number change if I make a request after its expiration?
No, the NIE will never change and will identify you in Spain for the rest of your life (or until you obtain Spanish nationality).

- Incorporation of commercial companies
