The residency regime for highly qualified professionals is provided for in the Entrepreneurs Law.
The company interested in hiring the foreigner or its representative is authorized to submit the application electronically to the Large Companies and Strategic Groups Unit - UGE.
What are the requirements?
- Management professionals, graduates or postgraduates from recognized universities or business schools with a job offer in Spain.
- For the workerTo prove higher education and/or have at least three years of experience related to the activity to be performed.
- For the companyCharacteristics, job functions and remuneration according to the occupations of the National Classification of Occupations - CNO-11.
- Directors and managers: 54,142 euros
- Other technicians and scientific and intellectual professionals: €40.77
What are your advantages?
- Employment situation in Spain not taken into account
- Positive administrative silence applies if the request is not resolved within 20 working days.
- Admits beneficiary family members
- You can apply for residency in your country of origin or in Spain, if you are legally resident.
- Residence valid for 2 years or for the duration of the contract if shorter
- Renewal is possible as long as the conditions and the employment relationship with the company that processed the application are maintained.
- Includes beneficiary family members who are allowed to reside and work in Spain.

- Spouse or registered partner;
- Minor or adult children who are economically dependent on the holder;
- Dependent ascendants.
